The National Treatment Purchase Fund (NTPF) used Dynamics 365 and PowerApps to accelerate the treatment of patients off their waiting list

The National Treatment Purchase Fund (NTPF) is an Irish government body which was established to decrease waiting lists in the Irish public healthcare system. The NTPF pays for public patients to obtain treatment in private hospitals in Ireland or abroad. In carrying out its functions, the NTPF works closely with the Department of Health, the HSE, acute public hospitals and private nursing homes across the health system.

Using a PowerApps solution, NTPF selected patients from a list of approximately half a million, quickly identified them and offered them treatment in the private sector. This solution was built and implemented in a fraction of the time it would have taken if it had been built using a classic ERP system.
